Emerald Strategies is an urban planning firm focused on community, revitalization, and resilience planning across New York and New Jersey.

I'm an AICP-certified planner with more than a decade of experience. Before founding Emerald, I spent nearly nine years at Colliers Engineering & Design, working on DRI plans, Brownfield Opportunity Area plans at every stage of the program, LWRPs, comprehensive plans, and resilience plans across New York and New Jersey — carrying them from GIS and existing-conditions analysis through to adopted, implementable documents.

Earlier, as a GIS specialist at KLD Engineering, I focused on population analysis and emergency route development — including the annual population estimates the NRC requires for 57 nuclear power plants. I've also worked on transit planning at MTA New York City Transit and county planning at the Monroe County Planning Department.

I work as a subconsultant to planning and engineering firms, and directly with municipalities and economic development organizations — on a single stage of a project or all of them, as part of your project team.
